This application (for PC or MAC) allows you to explore the upper airway, learn important anatomical features in the nasopharynx, oropharynx, and laryngopharynx, and appreciate the 3D spatial relationships between important anatomical landmarks. This application is intended for medical students, residents, and instructors.

 

Instructions and a tutorial are included so you can quickly get comfortable navigating the 3D environment and using the application's features. This application is similar to a flight simulator, with simplified controls.

 

 

 

Download the application for your operating system (PC or MAC).

PC Instructions: After unzipping the compressed file, click on the "URVL_PC.exe" file in the application's folder to begin.  Be sure to keep the "URVL_PC_Data" file in the same folder as the "URVL_PC.exe" file.

 

MAC Instructions: After unzipping the compressed file, click on the "URVL_MAC.app" file to begin.
