Chemical Safety Office

The Chemical Safety Office is part of the Georgia Regents University's Environmental Health & Safety Division.  Walter Loring is the Interim Associate Vice President of the Environmental Health & Safety Division. 

The Chemical Safety Office (CSO) is committed to providing a safe laboratory environment for faculty, staff, students and visitors. The goal of the CSO program is to minimize the risk of injury or illness to laboratory workers by ensuring that they have the training, information, support and equipment needed to work safely in the laboratory.  This is accomplished through the four safety programs described herein.

Kenneth U. Erondu supervises the Chemical Safety Office has a Hazardous Materials Officer and Hazardous Materials Technicians under his management.

The Chemical Safety Office is open Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM. We are located in the building behind the Hamilton building next to the parking deck on RA Dent Blvd., CI-1001.
