Georgia Health Sciences University, the Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center in conjunction with the Augusta Warrior Project welcomes you to the second annual Augusta Research Symposium for Advances in Warrior Care.

We are delighted to have retired Army Gen. Peter W. Chiarelli as our keynote speaker, the new CEO and President of One Mind for Research. He will discuss "Global Scientific Roadmap for Neurological Diseases." Day One of the symposium also will feature a lunchtime lecture from retired Lt. Gen. David Fridovich, former Director of the U.S. Special Operations Command; an information session about Eisenhower Army Medical Center's pilot program, the Fortitude Center; updates on brain illness and injury, including mild traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder, from panelists from all three medical institutions; and a research poster presentation during an afternoon reception.
