The Ralph W. and Harriet M. McAfee Award was established in 2005 by CON Alumna Colonel Gayle Wooding in memory of her parents. An award of $400 will be given to a graduate student, based on merit and financial need, who plans to pursue a career in gerontology. (Full-time GRU College of Nursing faculty should not apply).

Application Information

Scholarship applicants must:

1. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the time of application
   
2. Be able to demonstrate financial need
   
3. Submit an essay addressing why he/she believes gerontology is an important specialty in nursing
