During a time of great transformation, Georgia Health Sciences University is currently in the process of redeveloping the institutional effectiveness infrastructure for more systematic planning and assessment at all levels of the institution. The newly formed Division of Institutional Effectiveness leverages the resources of two existing support units - Institutional Research and Assessment - to support effective planning and assessment while building new resources to enrich the division's support potential.

Mission

Our mission is to foster development and implementation of a systematic, university-wide process for continuous improvement. We do this through the integration of high level data analysis, assessment planning, and compliance with national standards. The outcome of this work is the enhancement of the university mission to lead Georgia and the world to better health.

Functions

Institutional Effectiveness is a service unit of the university. We provide a variety of reporting, research, planning, assessment, accreditation, and related support services to the university community both at the institutional level and across academic programs and support units.
