Building Services

Building Services provides quality structural repair and maintenance services for 71 campus buildings.  The department consists of four primary shops; Carpentry, Painting, Sign and Lock. Typical repairs and maintenance provided by these shops include:

Carpentry:

• Ceiling, floor and wall repairs
• Roofing and water-proofing
• Casework and other structural repairs to fixed equipment (i.e. toilet partitions, etc.)

Painting:

• Interior and exterior maintenance painting of campus buildings

Sign:

• Maintenance to room identification, department and building signs
• Creation of banners and other specialty graphics through inter-departmental request

Lock:    

• Providing keys and locksmith services
• Maintaining automated doors and access systems
• Repairs to doors and windows
• Replacing broken glass

Work Management Center

The Work Management Center provides the following services:

• Work Order Input and Tracking
• Shutdown request processing
• Computerized Maintenance Management System maintenance
