
The Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport Paramedic (CCEMTP) program is owned
by the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). The CCEMTP program is conducted
as a satellite program on the Georgia Health Sciences University campus.
Course Pre-Requisites
The Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport ProgramSM pre-requisites are:
Participants of the CCEMPT course include paramedics, nurses, respiratory therapists,
physician assistant and physicians. It is required that all participants have a current
paramedic, nurses, respiratory therapy or physician license. It is recommended that
the participants have one (1) year of experience in that role, but it is no longer
required. It is also recommended that participants have the following certifications:
ACLS, CPR, Trauma Management certification such as BTLS, PHTLS, TNCC or TNATC, Pediatric
management certification such as PLS, PALS, PEPP or ENPC.
Cancellation Policy- Should you cancel your registration for any reason, a $50 cancellation fee applies.
This applies also if you roll over your registration to a later course and then cancel
out of it at a later date.
Rollover Policy- You are allowed one rollover to a later class. Should you cancel attending the later course, you will be subject to the Cancellation Policy as well.
