Retesting Procedures

Should a retest be required, GHSU course participants must wait 24-hours for retesting (per UMBC policy). Non-GHSU course participants (i.e.- you took the course and initially tested at another site) must pay a $35 site test fee to GHSU and may retest any time GHSU offers the written exam. The fee is for each retest attempt. Additionally, UMBC charges a $35 retest fee, which should be made out to UMBC and mailed to UMBC at:

University of Maryland Baltimore County
Department of Emergency Health Services
Professional and Continuing Education
1450 S. Rolling Road/Technology Center
