The mission of the Laboratory for Applied Periodontal & Craniofacial Regeneration is to evaluate and explain critical biologic and clinical concepts for periodontal wound healing/regeneration, alveolar augmentation/oral implant osseointegration and strategically related concepts. We represent a multi-national group encompassing basic, preclinical, and clinical science also including reference clinicians in the US, Europe, Brazil, Korea, and Taiwan.
 
Beyond our established discriminating preclinical models  to evaluate periodontal and craniofacial regeneration, our laboratory combines a broad range of expertise and know-how that transcends these models from study design and data analysis, molecular and cell biology, to preclinical and clinical testing. Thus, we are uniquely positioned to evaluate the biologic and clinical potential of a wide range of treatment concepts prior to their clinical introduction.
