The Office of Diversity Affairs (ODA) in the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) is dedicated to diversifying the physician workforce and providing leadership in diversity and cultural competence to the MCG faculty, staff, students, residents and community. In order to fulfill our mission, our vision is to 1) Increase the underrepresented physician workforce, 2) To train culturally competent physicians, 3) To create a diverse academic and medical community.

The Office of Diversity Affairs has sponsored programs which represent the educational pipeline established by the Medical College of Georgia for over 40 years.  These programs are designed to encourage and prepare talented students from backgrounds that are underrepresented in the health sciences, as well as non-traditional and disadvantaged students.

The Office of Diversity Affairs welcomes feedback, ideas and involvement from all students, staff, faculty and residents, as well as the local community. You can also join us on LinkedIn or follow us on Twitter: @MCG_ODA. Stop by often to check our ODA News page for the most up-to-date information and links to news articles and videos on our programs and students!

The Office of Diversity Affairs has moved! Our new campus address is CJ 1007. Stop by and check out the new space!
