The facility’s subsidy is from the Cancer Center, The Medical College of Georgia and in part by user fees.

 Grant chargebacks, using interdepartmental requisition (IDR) forms, are sent out at the beginning of each month  for the previous month's use of the facility equipment/services via the Cancer Center's Finance & Grants administrator, Danielle-Nicole Gagnon.

 ¹  Use of any instrument or service will be billed in quarter-hour increments except for the ImageStream× and FACSAria llu flow cytometers. There will be a minimum charge of 1 hour to use either the ImageStream× or the FACSAria IIu. 

 ²  It is assumed that users, once trained, will operate core facility equipment independently. An additional fee of a $20/hour will be charged to any user requiring assistance or training by the facility staff, however, there is no assisted rate available for the FACSAria IIu cell sorter flow cytometer. Operation of the FACSAria IIu is currently provided as a service only.

 ³  FACSAria llu cancellations < 1 business day in advance of the appointment may incur a charge for the amount of time reserved, irrespective if the appointment is rescheduled.

 ⁴  Sorts provided as a service that occur outside of regularly available appointment times, if permitted, are billed at double the rate. For example, sorting during lunchtime or before/after normal business hours will incur the elevated rate.

 ⁵ Use of the Nexcelom Cellometer Auto T4 automated cell counter is free of charge when users supply their own counting cambers/slides. Boxes of 75 slides can be obtained from the core at actual cost of $112.50/box of 75 slides. Know that each slide contains 2 counting chambers.
